About Pillaraxis

Pillaraxis is an independent platform publishing analysis of cybersecurity, data protection, and cyber law developments — GDPR enforcement actions, major security incidents, and the regulatory changes that follow them — examined specifically for their legal and practical implications, not just their headlines.

The premise is simple: most cybersecurity reporting explains what happened technically, and most legal commentary explains what a regulation says. Fewer places sit in between and ask what a breach, a fine, or a new rule actually means for the people who have to respond to it — the compliance officer, the in-house counsel, the small business trying to work out which licence bracket it now falls into.

Pillaraxis is written by Jefin Shaji, a law graduate (LLB, CUSAT School of Legal Studies, First Class) working in regulatory and compliance practice in Kochi, India, currently focused on the cybersecurity-related dimensions of client operations — data-handling practices and information-security documentation — alongside formal legal drafting and advisory work. Writing this platform, in public and on a regular basis, is a deliberate discipline: testing an understanding of a fast-moving field by explaining it clearly enough for someone else to follow.
